Watery Eyes

Every year about this time, and sometimes at other random times in the year, my allergies start to act up, being Spring and all. I get to the point that I nearly can't breathe through my nose, but that's tolerable. The thing that drives me insane is the watering eyes!!! I took 2 Ibuprofen, 2 Benadryl capsules, and a vitamin today, but my eyes just keep watering HORRIBLY. They get to the point to where when I'm at school, I get close to just going home because I can't stop my leaking face....is there anything that helps this?

Re: Watery Eyes

I get this really bad in the summer. I can't wear makeup or anything because my eyes just pour water all day. I haven't found anything to help, but I'm trying allergy shots this year to see if they can help.

Re: Watery Eyes

I use prescription "Patanol" prescribed by my allergist along with my other routine allergy medication. The allergist described it as liquid gold and it has helped immensly.

Benedryl is good, but it may not be strong enough. Have you tried Claritin or Claritin-D? It may help you better. Having natural tear eye drops or gel will also allow you to wash away the pollen and minimize eye irritation resulting form contact.

Respectfully,
MG
