Infected

Well, it was just too good to be true.

I had zero acne on one side of my face after close to 40 days of sticking to a very strict acne friendly diet. I had 12 zits on the other side and it was looking good. Then about a week ago three of them busted open during shaving and bled and I rubbed the blood/blotted it with a towel. Within days there was like 3 more then a few more and now there is like nodule acne on that side. My other side has about 2 tiny zits now, but I can tell that it is not infected like the other side is as only that one side had the acne on it.

I can't win.

So now I'm going to find out if I should get on another antibiotic. I have tried two (the mino?, and the tetracycline I believe) and was on the tetracycline for two years non-stop. My new dermatologist couldn't believe I was kept on it for that long. Now I guess I'll ask about getting back on it or some other kind. I don't know what else to do at this point as it is obviously infected or otherwise has gotten significantly worse since my shaving incident.

I'm just venting, but any suggestions or comments are welcome. thanks...
