Dizziness

I was tested two weeks ago and found to be allergic to dust mites and grasses. I now have mattress/pillow/boxspring covers and a Nasonex Rx.
I am wondering if anyone experiences momentary dizziness or lightheadedness b/c of their allergies. I don't have a sinus infection (thank your sinus wash!) but wonder if something else could be going on . The only allergy symptom I have is post nasal drip, and maybe this dizziness. The doctor checked my ears but didn't say anything.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Dizziness

Although your doctor checked your ears, it is not always possible to detect labyrinthitis, which may be causing your problem. This is an infection of your ear that causes dizziness and is very common. It is viral in nature and usually resolves on its own without intervention. Of course there are many possibilities but I feel this is the most likely.

Re: Dizziness

I have the same symptoms....post nasal drip...fatigue ...sometimes the dizzieness...been to many doctors....had all kinds of tests ran...none could figure it out...I personally requested a sinus cat scan from my doctor...which he seemed reluctant to do, but schedualled it anyway....to find out I have chronic siusitus....hmmmmm....ok now what do I do Doc?? three opinions later I still had nothing to go on...just gave me some nasal spray....finally went on my own to an ear nose and throat specialist....had sinus surgery...helped a little....no more answers from the specialist....took it upon myself to call an allergist.....told her my symptoms....she told me I needed some anti depresents or counseling....I disagreed and asked for an allergy test...she gave me a big long speech on counseling...then asked if I still wanted the allergy test.....I said yes that's why I came...took the test to find out that I have about 9 allergies of the 32 I was tested for...she seemed shocked...am now taking allegra and rhinocort every day of the year and it helps for the most part but this time of year and two other times of the year they don't help...sometimes its almost dibilitating.......I researched hours upon hours and come up with my own diagnosis.... hope this helps someone or someone can help me
thanks
