Cushings Syndrome

I just went to an endocrinologist today and they suspect Cushings Syndrome. Will be having lots of blood tests done soon. I've read up on how they can treat this, but was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how they dealt with this problem. Thank you.

Re: Cushings Syndrome

angel,

I have not had to deal with it yet but my endocrinologist suspects the same thing for me. I had all the blood tests and the 24 hr urine sample I am just waiting for the results. There is a lot of information out there on cushings you just need to search the web. I am hoping mine is not because I am already having enough to deal with since I have PCOS, insulin resistance and kidney stones. Please keep us updated.

Re: Cushings Syndrome

The doctor suspects that I have it too. Going to be having tests next week.
Been searching for answers for 2 years.

They suspect I may have PCOS also. But I was diagnosed with Cushing's. There is a tumor on the adrenal gland. Hopefully there is not one on the pituitary gland. Will be speaking with the surgeon tomorrow. PCOS does have some of the same symptoms as Cushing's.
Will keep you in my prayers
