anyone else with high blood pressure?

HI, I have boarderline thyroid & many things that point to both over & under, but now I have high blood pressure, I do feel a bit stressed out at times, but just lately have dizzy spells headaches. Could this all be linked to thyroid cause now I am really worried.

Yep I have high blood pressure. It's coming down with meds.

I am on Monopril for High BP it is doing great......... hope to get off the meds with diet exercise and better control of thyroid...........Oleander

Ditto - I never had problems with my blood pressure until my thyroid went "KER PLUNK''.

I'm on medication for both - 88mcgs generic synthroid and 10 mgs felodipine for bp. I'm just about situated with correct dosage of thyroid hormone and blood pressure has been doing great now usually around 127/78.

Thyroid can affect everything, especially your cholestrol.

Thanks everyone glad im not on my own, I havent been given anything to lower it as yet, but have gone out & brought blood pressure machine so i can show the nurse next time. Thing is as soon as you know you have this problem you worry which in turn blood pressure shoots up . Thanks again.
