Re: Has any mast.patient ever had....

Hi there Cj !!!!!!!

I've not had that problem so I'm not berry helpful. How are you doing otherwise?? Haven't talked to you in ages and ages.

I saw my primary today and we are working on my new meds for my diabetes I told you about (shot from gila monster saliva lol) Its going ok,i've lost 10 pounds this month woo hoo I also told him about Arimidex elevated the cholesterol and HDL. Mine weren't too bad but can be down more due to diabetes. So he increased my crestor and glucophage. He is really a good doc, gave me a big hug today and said he was so happy I was doing so well. Then told me he was mad at me and said because I have more hair than him lol. He's been my doc for 15 yrs.

Anxious to hear from you, have missed ya!!!

The PT i had was for my back and right leg and it helped alot so hopefully it will help you as well

Huggs,
Linda

Re: Has any mast.patient ever had....

Hi Linder..so glad youre here..yes it has been a while!! Ive been feeling a little funky lately..considering a mast. on my other side...and I guess its weighing heavy on my mind!
Ive got a question for ya...do you have alot of...ummmm..gas since your on arimidex..it just kinda started with me, and its awful!!! pains too!!
I am so happy that you are doing well ..and a 10lb weight loss too so tell me how many houses have you gotten up to??
You are very lucky to have such a good relationship with you dr..mine has been stained lately..he just gave me such a bad attitude when I tried to discuss the side effect problem I was having..he just doesnt believe that there are any adverse effects..dduh!! I think we know thats not true, cant get him to be a little empathetic though.
I just dont know how I am gonna run to yet another pt. session..I am still going for my plantaar fasciitis 2x a week..I cant believe now this shoulder thing..but if I dont do anything about it ...I could end up with frozen shoulder and I dont want that!!
Ive missed you too..got kinda used to seeing you and T here!! I hope shes still moving!!
Keep in touch okay!!???!!!
hugs to ya,
cj

Re: Has any mast.patient ever had....

Hey there Cj

Good to hear from you. Hmmm gas huh? I have that all the time lol. Hard to say what from but it does seem like more than normal. I have such bowel issues already. IBS and constipation so I take Senekot to keep me going. And no not like everready batteries lolol. Have you talked to a pharmacist about any possible OTC med to slow down the gas? Yea, my doc said Taxol was easier than the AC..........NOT lol. I was thinking of Gas-X but I think that is to help you pass gas lol. Stay away from that!!!! I have to go to the pharmacy today so will look in that area. I have noticed tho I do have more pains esp if I haven't gone to the bathroom enuff for the week. And I usually end up getting sick when I do go cuz of the pains. (puking lol).

I forgot to tell ya I had my first ***** this Monday so waiting on those results....anxiously. The also did my left arm axillary area. She said that is routine again now. No u/s so hope that means they didn't see anything. I'm coming up to my one yr anniversary so a little anxious and emotional about that. But doing ok

Who is treating your frozen shoulder? What symptoms are you having? Does PT say anything about it? Hows the plantar fascitis going? Did you check out any shoe inserts? That is really what helped me. I never got PT for that.

Let me know if you find out anything. I've been thinking alot about you!
I miss T too. Will leave her a msg on the other msg.

Hugs,
Linda

Re: Has any mast.patient ever had....

what a beautiful day today Linda, hope it was for you too!! Yeah, I just cant imagine this gas problem..its really getting to be a pain in the butt!! literally!!
Linda, wow, I hope and pray you pass your ***** with flying colors..that will really be something to celebrate!! Let me know okay? I will have a little party for you!!!
UMmm I thought my foot pt. could do it but my pcp wants someone he knows to do it..so Ill be off in two different directions..what a pain..but this guy knew right away when the symptoms were described to him over the phone what it was..ive looked it up on the internet and yea..I agree, so that is a positive. My foost really has gotten better..i do my exercises regularly though and have had a few flare ups..but gee my pt. is so awesome..hurts like heck for him to even touch it most times..but after a few hours at home it feels better..thanks for askin!! I havent had a free minute to look for inserts..i feel like i am running constantly..but my daughter actually picked up some crocs for me..and instead of going barefoot i slide these on..yeah they feel good!!
Good to hear from you linda..stay in touch..
ill be thinkin about you and your test results..dont forget to let me know
hugs,
cj.
