Tri Sprintec Birth Control?

well I was on the generic for loestrin 24 fe and it did not work well for me over the 7 or 8 months I was on it..so I quit..then after a broken condom I thought it would be wise to go back on the pill because I'm only 20 and I cant afford something like pregnancy ( I honestly wouldn't mind, but I seriously can't afford it money wise) Anyway....my doctor prescribed me Tri Sprintec, which is the generic for Ortho tricyclen LO. I have heard negative things about OTL but what about it's generic? My main concerns are relief from cramps, and hopefully no change in libido, NOT to mention, mood swings...I did get some vitamins for that though, also if this doesn't work out, what pills are prone to produce breast enlargment? I'm already a D/DD and I really don't need them to be any bigger .... so has anyone had any positive/negative experiences with Tri Sprintec? Thanks so much for your help!!!

Re: Tri Sprintec Birth Control?

hi, Tri Sprintec is generic for regular Ortho tri Cyclen not OTC lo, there is no generic for otc lo. Im on Tri sprintec its good for me. I was having some problems with mood swings fatigue, low sex drive, etc. But a few months ago someone on this board told me to try a vitamin B complex cuz the pill depletes B vitamins. It has helped soo much with those side effects. I had a bit of weight gain about 15 pounds but every pill has done this to me and this one is no different I think its just the way my body reacts to the hormones, the brand of pill doesn't matter it has happened with every pill I've tried. I would go off the pill lose the weight go back on gain it back. So you may be different than me, it has made my skin beautiful, and it made me go from a D to a DD, like any pill you just have to try it.
