Moisturizer

Anyone have suggestions for the best moisturizer for acne prone skin? I've been using Neutrogena for years, but my skin is getting very flaky from my prescription Benzaclyn.

Re: Moisturizer

I dont use medications except occasionally, but I have read a lot on acne message boards and read a lot of responses to similar questions and Olay Sensitive skin formula is good. Cetaphil is a bit creamier than some so you could also try that. I cant use cetaphil in the summer because I get too oily but I dont have dry skin so it could be good for you. But I know that these two are good ones for ance prone skin.

Re: Moisturizer

When my skin is dry I use aloe vera and then cetaphil cream. If your skin is still dry, try aquaphor healing ointment. it's the heaviest moisturizer that i've found, but it does sometimes break me out if i use too much.

Re: Moisturizer

I recommend Ultra-Calming SPF15 from Aveeno - the only moisturiser I've found that doesn't make me break out. Its oil-free, but feels more moisturising than Neutrogena oil-free. Its perfect for my sensitive, acne-prone skin, and the SPF is a bonus too.

Anyone recommend a cleanser to use once I get spiro and a topical from my derm (hopefully!)? I use Proactive now but its so harsh (I'm 32) and I know once you start a prescription topical, I should use a nice gentle cleanser (which I'm looking forward to!). Are there any anti-aging products out there that people with acne-prone skin can use? Or are these all too oily?

Thanks.
