Unhappy SKIPPED BEATS or DANGEROUS ARRYTHMIAS????

I have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and just recently POTS which makes my heart beat up to 180 beats per minute just by standing up. Anyway I was almost able to deal with POTS and rapid heart beats iget fro anxiety as well as skipped beats here and there which I know its also from anxiety.

HOWEVER, two days ago I was at the movies and felt my heart skip a beat like I have before but this sent my heart into a complete eratic heart rhythm... It was totally off rhythm- fast slow , hard and slow- Completly off rhtym.....I felt this was it.....When the paramedics came the rhythm was back to normal but heart rate was 150... Does anyone know about this- is atrial fib, VT, or just a bunch of PVC's at once,.... I was under a lil stress too. Please help! I am am mother of two and feel so worthless an now scared for my life...

Re: skipped beats or dangerous arrythmia?

I've never been digonosied with anything concering my heart but I have has panic attacks. My heart would jump up to 130 bpm while laying in bed. It would feel like I swallowed my heart when it would skip a beat. After calling 911 twice in one night I went to the ER to find my heart was fine but was told I had a panic attacks. They considered it a mental thing.
I can understand the horror you felt when your heart speeds up from nothing. After a year of having them more than once a week
when they finally stopped. I changed the people that use to surround me and they went away.

My mother and grandmother has the same thing so I guess it rund in the family. I never took anything for my panic attacks. I might have one once every other year. I do have a problem with catching my breath from time to time and that makes my heart skip a beat.

Sorry I can't help you.
