Solodyn help??

Has anyone tried solodyn and recieved great results?? My derm just prescribed me solodyn but im not sure if i should take it?? Please respond

I would not recommend it. i took 90/mg a day for acne problems too (along with ziana gel) and after about 3 weeks of use, i had horrible diarrhea and stomach pain/cramps. i stopped taking it right away. apparently those are rare side effects, but i definitely had them. its your call though. good luck

im taking 90mg a day of solodyn and 100 mg of spironolactone. i didn't see any results for four full months but now my skin is starting to improve. it's been slow going but i have had no negative side effects and the meds seem to be working. good luck with whatever you decide!

I used it with spiro and my skin cleared in 3 weeks. My dermatologist gave me only a one month supply.

I used it for two weeks and it didn't do anything for me at all. My derm said that I didnt give it enough time, but when I have been on other similar meds in the past I usually see a difference in a week or less. Not with this though. He gave me a bunch of samples for it, then when I ran out he wrote me a prescription for it, but I didnt fill that at my pharmacy yet.. Last week I was put on bactim for cystic acne which was pretty severe, today, ONE WEEK later I am COMPLETELY clear... Bactrim is a godsend for me
