After effects of anesthetic

My friend had four wisdom teeth out on Tuesday. After coming out he was sick - all blood and a lot of it. He came home and went to bed but on Wednesday he was sick twice during the day - no blood just mostly bile. He is very dizzy, constant headache since the op. Yesterday he was not sick but had the dizziness and headache still. Today is the same but he is feeling sick again because he sat up for about two minutes. He has pretty much slept since Tuesday and not a lot else. Appetite is down but he is still eating a little.

Is this normal? He is completely fit and healthy but is not recovering. Had the op on Tuesday now Friday. No temperature - 36.2

Any help? Is this normal? Should I ring NHS as there is no way I could get him to a doctor in his state?

Molly

Re: After effects of anesthetic

Yes, this can be normal, especially if they gave him codeine to take for pain after he was released. If he is on codeine, switching to something like Vicodin could help.
