Post Doctors appointment...more tests.

Well, I finally went to someone who specializes in FMS. He's a rhuematologist, but he deals alot with the other as well. He said I definitely have FMS and CFS, but he had me tested for arthritis stuff. He said that I have some other things that worry him, especially in my joints and my neck. It's hard to belive I would have arthritis since I'm only 22, but I guess we'll find out. He said it was odd that I can't touch my chin to my chest, I never noticed that before but I CAN'T! Hopefully I'll find out soon...if it is arthritis that is causing my FMS then maybe I can treat it and get rid of the FMS. That gives me a little hope atleast. I'm having a hard time typing with one hand(since my other is so sore I can't hardly touch or move it)so I'd better get going. Thanx all for listening.

What is the first thing I did when I read this post? I checked to see if I could touch my chin to my chest.
Seriously, I am glad you found a good doctor. It sounds like you are satisfied with him. That in itself is half the battle.

Scooby - Just wondering, have you or anyone else looked into alternative therapies (seeing a Naturopath). I hope your daughter is feeling better, mine had the flu last week and it was no fun. I know you are up, I'll check back later. PS Get some rest

If by alternative you mean natural healing, herbs, massage (shiatsu), physical therapy, aquatics, diets, THEN yes I have tried and them and no they were not effective for me. However, that is not to say they would not be for someone else.
