Exclamation Excellent info for people new to FM

check out http://www.healthology.com/index.asp
Go to the audio/video section and type in "fibromyalgia" in the Healthology Search. The videos are pretty good and easy to understand. Also, they have one on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Linda, That is a great site! I added it to my favorites - most of my favorites list is filled with sites about FM. One I just came across recently that really hit home is a segment that is on this site:

Go down to the cloud that says "support", click on it, and then scroll down to the one that says "Letter from Scott". I printed it out to use for anyone who asks about FM. See ya!

Unhappy

Elaine, I also added your site to my favorites. That letter was right on! I heard from my son and he is OK. He won't be able to come home though. But I can live with that as long as he's OK. Right after he caalled this AM, I received a phone call with some more news. Another family crisis that I won't go into, but it's pretty devistating. I turned my Christmas tree lights on and they all went out! My family Christmas get together is THis coming Sun. and I don't have all the gifts made that I need, also, I have to cook some stuff to carry. I woke up several times last night aching worse than normal. Couldn't get moving this AM because of the flair I knew was coming. Now all this other on top of it, I think I'm going to "crash and burn"! So, until I'm in a better frame of mind and body, I'll just try to conserve what energy I can find, and hope this one doesn't last too long. I'll be thinking of you all...Linda D (P.S. I had this written once and was ready to post when something went wrong and it got deleted, so this is the second time I'm posting this!!)

Linda, Hang in there, kiddo! Just try to pace yourself and don't overdo it, okay? I am frazzled, too, as it has now been 9 days since I went to my doctor. The day I saw him he was going to call my rheumy and see what could be done for me and call me back. I am still waiting. I have called his office twice, and noone has called me back. He didn't have me on anything except my Elavil, and I have been hurting so bad that I took a Darvocet last night with no help whatsoever. I took one at 1 p.m. today, and still no help. This is a bad one. Take care of yourself - I'll be thinking of you.
