Do you mean a rescue inhaler or daily preventer? Flovent, as a daily preventer, does not have any bronchial dilators in it so it doesn't do that. As for a rescue inhaler, after a while the shakes will go away with albuterol as your body gets used to it. And the new albuterol HFA inhalers seem to cause it even less. Xoponex is an option but it's available only in nebulizer form so you would have to carry it with you all the time in case you had an attack.
What all does your doctor have you on? And what kind of asthma do you have?
