Help is it unusual to still need crutches for most weight bearing? Hammertoe still hurts a lot. Foot will swell is not continuously elevated. What can I expect? Dr, although a great surgeon has no personality. I seem to learn things on a need to know basis. Says I can wear a seneker next week but the way it feels now does not seem possible i'lkl be able to walk. He says x-rays normal
