Any GOOD experiance with Seasonale?

I am afraid of this pill because of horror stories I've read by searching these boards, however, I've just been put on it by my doctor because I am anemic again, so I have to go on it at least until I get my hemoglobin back up. I am on Ortho Tri-Cyclen right now and I like it cuz it keeps my skin clear and dosn't mess with me too bad. Has anyone had a good experiance with this pill? Especially as far as Acne is concerned? I really don't want to switch but I kinda have to because you cant skipp your periods on OTC cuz its a tri phasic, even though I have skipped my peroid on OTC and did not have BTB.Though I probably just got lucky that time Sorry for the rant but Im really frustrated because I don't want to go off OTC

Re: Any GOOD experiance with Seasonale?

I just started taking a version of Seasonale called Seasonique about 2 weeks ago. My periods were not all that irregular, but irregular enough that it caused me to worry sometimes. I'm sexually active, and even though we always use protection, when a period is 2 weeks late sometimes (give or take), it still makes me worry sometimes. I'm getting married a year from now, so I also want to already be on a birth control that I know will work. I don't want to have to keep changing birth control pills as a newlywed. As I said, I've only been on Seasonique for 2 weeks, but so far I've had no problems. In case you're wondering the difference between the two, Seasonale has a week of inactive pills, and Seasonique contains low-dose estrogen pills during the last week instead of the inactive pills.

Re: Any GOOD experiance with Seasonale?

hi, I just got married. I don't really want to switch pills I like the pill Im on now (tri-sprintec) but my doc wants me to stop having a peroid for a while, because of my anemia. I was thinking about going on seasonique but my doc suggested seasonale because it has a generic $30/pack vs $160 a pack. so I took the cheaper one.

Re: Any GOOD experiance with Seasonale?

I was on "seasonale" for years. I loved it!! What a freedom to not have your "PERIOD" every month. Never had a problem.
