I have been taking yamsin for over a year now. My doctor just started to tell me last month not to take the white ones. I get really bad periods and cramping too. I didnt get a period last month and also it is light this month really light along with cramping but it is going on day 5 though. Any advice? Is this normal? Hope all is well. Write Back Soon

I still have my period. very lightly though with some cramping. I'm gonna give my doctor a call in the AM. does anyone know if this is a normal thing?
I was on "seasonale" for years. i really loved this pill. Well I'm heading up there in years and my blood pressure is creeping up. At my last pap me and my NP decided I would go for Mirena the IUD. So I made a plan to come off the pill and scheduled my appointment for when I should get my period.(iud's go in during periods)Well my pap came back I had to go for colposcopy with biopsies. A doc performed this test so I discussed my eventual switch from pills to an IUD and that I was apprehensive because of my years on the pill and I didn't want to give my freedom from periods up. So she said well you can go on Yasmin it has a diuretic in it and will lower your pressure. I don't smoke so there is no need to come off the pill. Well I was happy until i started to take Yasmin. let me tell you I have been on the pill and various forms of it since I was 15 years old. This pill made me crazy. first month went OK second month i started to spot and third month i had spotting every day.I also lost my sex drive and became depressed. I am unable to get an IUD due to I am going for a LEEP and I need to clear up my cervix situation.I will start CRYSELLE sunday.But on a monthly period basis.(yikes)
