Two Periods in three weeks??

So, I got a normal period right on time during the green pills of my bc pack. When I finished that pack I didnt get a new one. Then, a week later I got another period. It started out light and lasted only a few days. It was brown blood the whole time though. As if it was old blood or something. So, I guess my question is, is it normal to get a period after stopping bc even when I had a normal period A week before stopping? This means I had 2 periods in three weeks. Also, Which period would I go by to figure out when my next period is due? The first or second one? Thanks so much!

Re: Two Periods in three weeks??

Stopping the pill can be interesting in terms of getting your periods back on track. Yes, what happened to you is fairly common. And there is no way to tell when your next period will be. I'd start with the first period to count but that may not be it. After your next period I'd think things would straighten out.
