Yaz users.... period?

I'm taking yaz for cycle regulation and so far so good. My period is coming, its coming on time, and its ending within a week. And I get a lot less migraines than on Yasmin.
But I am curious about one thing. So far (2nd pack) my period has been heavier than it was on Yasmin, but this pill has less estrogen. Has anyone else experienced this? Like today, the second day of my period, I was lucky to have on dark pants and overnight pads! I was just surprised and curious if it will start to decrease in time. I'm half tempted to make my placebo week longer since I'm not using it for birth control.

Re: Yaz users.... period?

i also recently made the switch from yasmin to yaz, and i had a slightly different problem: i got my period a week early and it lasted for 2 weeks. (i'm now on my 4th pack, and it seems to be getting better)
my period was also a little heavier, but not as bad as yours sounds.
it's hard making the switch- yours will prolly get better in the next couple months. (i sure hope mine does!)
