missed a week of BC, pregnancy symptoms with neg. test

I'm using the NuvaRing and have found it to be really convienent and easy. I've been using it for about 5 months now and up until this past month didn't have any accidents with it. About 3 weeks ago I forgot to put a new one in for a week. So this is easier to understand it's like this:

Had ring in for 3 weeks
Took out for 1 week, during which time had period, very light period
Day came to put a new ring in, forgot
Week passed and finally put one back in
2 weeks total without ring in
Had sex with my husband during middle of second week, unprotected

Now I'm having pregnancy like symptoms, going to the bathroom more at night, slight breast changes, occasional cramping, back pains, heartburn, increasing nausea. I've had 2 children already so am well aware of pregnancy symptoms and what they feel like. BUT when I did a test about 3 days ago it came back negative. I still have my ring in and the time to take it out is coming again soon. About 3 days from now.

Is it possible I got pregnant during those weeks and still have a negative test? If I'm not pregnant then what is going on with these symptoms? I keep thinking that maybe the ring wasn't out long enough to get pregnant and I shouldn't worry. But stranger things have happened before and I am sure I do need to keep my attention on this possibility. Should I call my OB/GYN? I have no idea what to do really. As for do I want to be pregnant... I'm frankly not sure. As of about a month ago the answer was obviously no. Guess I wouldn't be heartbroken if I were pregnant now. Totally confused.
