Yaz - pushing me overboard?

I started Yaz 2 weeks ago (today is 1st day of week 3). I think it is pushing me over the edge. I was on the Depo shot for close to 12 years which is entirely too long. Yaz sounded perfect!
It has become a true struggle for me. I am EXTREMELY moody, bitchy is not the word for it! I have been waking up with leg cramps, getting migranes, breast tenderness, and just feel like crap most of the time. I keep saying it is because the depo is still wearing itself out of my system and I am gettting too many hormones.
Am I tricking myself or will these symptoms stop eventually? I just want to be happy and feel NORMAL. Can my body adjust to Yaz? I need to know what i should do before Yaz causes me to get divorced! Please help!

Re: Yaz - pushing me overboard?

Breast tenderness and maybe headaches, too, are normal with any pill and go away with time. The moodiness is caused by a depletion of B vitamins. All birth control pills deplete these vitamins and can cause mood problems in some people because of it. Taking a B complex vitamin usally helps. The leg cramps are something else entirely, though. That's something that's listed under 'pill warning signs'. I wouldn't mess around with that one, could be a sign of a blood clot, I would switch pills.

Re: Yaz - pushing me overboard?

Thanks for the advice! I take a multi-vitiman daily, but It still may not be enough! I just feel completly awful! My entire body feels like I spent hours at the gym (definately did not!) I think you are right, I may need to get off Yaz. I was hoping that the symptoms would go away with my body adjusting to the pill. Better to be safe than sorry! Thanks again!
