Adderall 30 mg XR

I am a 39 year old male (165 lbs) in good health who was recently diagnosed with what I believe is a particularly severe case of ADHD, with emphasis being placed on the hyperactivity characteristics of the disorder. After the 10 mg XR and 20 mg XR proved relatively impotant in its effectiveness in controlling my hyperactivity, I was prescribed the 30 mg XR which immediately brought the condition under control. The problem is this, the effectiveness of one capsule only lasts around 6-7 hours which accounts for about 1/2 my workday as I am a busy attorney who usually works between 14-16 hours per day. As a result I require 1 additional capsule at around 1 or 2 p.m. to carry me until that 8 or 9 o

i was having the same issue. i went from 70 mg vyvanse once a day to adderall xt 20 mgs twice a day ... starting today. hopefully it is the answer. my days are 16-24 hours regularly and the vyvanse wore off after 8 hours although it is supposed to be 12 hours. good luck...... ms1

I have the same problem I'm ** (200lbs) and every morning I take 2 capsules of adderall xr one is 30 mgs and the other is 10 mgs and yet it barely lasts till 4th hour so now my doctor is thinking about making me take adderall xr 2 or 3 times a day and I can barely sleep now so shes got me on 0.1 mgs of clonidine too. How much more can one person take.

just from personal experience, may i suggest the Daytrana patch. I think it i great except it leaves little red marks where the patch was. i have little to no side effects that are negative and it is hardly abuseable (if thats an issue) I really like it. I feel normal. The rate of absorbtion increases so i find myself cutting the patches in half and receiving a great effect, albeit mild, from the patch. Just an idea.

by the way, it lasts until i take it off --- and then some-- good for 20 hours of SMOOTH even release. no ups and downs !
