Talking 2nd bunion surgery coming in 4 weeks!!!

Hello to all! I got back from my surgeons office a short time ago and am absolutely thrilled! The left bunion was removed on Aug 7th; I returned to work 3 weeks later. I never had a cast like others have had, I had a splint and a surgical boot. I followed orders by icing and exercises I was shown. Both the doc and I are very pleased with the progress. In a week and a half I'll be able to get into a sneaker and the great news (for me anyway) is that on Oct 16th I will get the right foot done-I am so excited. I thank all of you who gave me great advice on procedures, how to diminish the scar, medication etc. I wish you all the best of luck, good health and of course "pain free feet".

Hello Huhhoney,
Well...that is an accomplishment!! I had my surgery on 7/23...went to my dr today and am off of work for another 3-4 weeks. I had the splint and surgical boot also. Have been in the toe alignment splint and velcro type boot for the past 2-3 weeks...will stay in this for awhile.
