very sore pimple like sore on scalp

i noticed it 3 weeks ago it is a very red small pimple like bump on my scalp.. It is so sore and it burns if I fget gel or hairspray in it....my family doctor said it was a infection and put me on antibiotics for 7 days it felt better but didn't go away and now it hurts again..anyone have any ideas? it starts to hurt if I keep touching it..is it a hair follicle

You need to go back to the doc and get this rechecked. Obviously the antibiotics didn't take care of all of the infection so see the doc and get this checked again.
