Arrow Cryotherapy- Freezing warts??? Has anyone done this??

I've had HPV for about 3 years now. I had outbreak of warts 3 years ago, took Aldara, and they went away and didn't return until earlier this year. I've been using the Aldara not as religiously as before, but I've had these 4 small things that just won't go away, even though I'm active, take my vitamins, and have a pretty good immune system. I'm considering looking into getting them frozen off, but I don't know how much of that procedure is generall covered under insurance/health benefits, and what the procedure entails.

Could anyone enlighten me about what the "recovery preiod" is like, what the actual procedure is like, and what a ballpark cost would be, with and/or without insurance. Any information would be helpful, thank you

Well I'm from Canada, and our medical procedures here are covered, so as for costs I couldn't tell you. But the actual procedure is no big deal at all. I had two of mine frozen a little more than a month ago and it was a tiny bit uncomfortable, but by no means was it painful. It took less than a week for the two warts to disappear.

I had mine cryo years ago for HPV. It is not painful, uncomfortable but not painful. I would take a few Advil or somehthng before and continue for a few days for inflammation.

I hated wearing maxi pads that was my only complaint. I had cryo twice and 15 yrs later I have never had an abnormal pap since.
