My husband has some questions. He was DXed in Sept 07. A1c of 10.8. After one month of diet changes and exercise he went to 8.4, now one month later 8.2. Needlessly to say Doc has put him on medicine--Metformin. His Qs:
1. When should he notice (by taking Metformin) any BSL differences? How soon?
2. How long does the gastic suffering go on usually? He is trying to be tough. I want him to change meds. Bro in law is on
Actos 30 and thinks it is a wonder. It keeps him at 100 BSL.
