Smile update on 'concerns for my husband'

I just thought I'd finally let you know that we went to the second DR and he wasn't impressed w/ the treatment (or lack there of) of the 1st. Neither was I when my DH said that it has been high for about a year, Red Cross has been telling him every time he donated blood that he needed to get it checked....(oh, men can be frustrating.. ).
The Dr put him on a beta blocker combined w/ a diretic (sp?) and his pressure has dropped like a rock. Now is running 'bout 103/64 heart rate 45 this morning about 5:30 (just before he goes to work) He's to go in in 2 wks to do a treadmill and in a month for testing on his liver....Something about the diretic..
Anyway, there's the update and thank you to all that responded.............T

Hi Tracer-
Well. FINALLY. I'm happy to hear your husband's BP is now well-controlled and you have found a good doc.
Way to go!
