side effects of benicar

I was just prescribed benicar 20 mil a day, i would like to know if anyone who is taking this has had any side effects i have not started taking it yet,thanks for the response.

I have used Benicar for four months. The only side effect is that I cannot run for about six hours after I take it. Also, it causes insomnia a bit so I take it in the morning instead of at night.

Basically, I would say that there are no side effects. Previously, I had taken Calcium Channel Blockers, and Ace Inhibitors - both had much, much, much worse side effects.
