Cool Divan & Hair loss

I have been using Diovan for 4 months and am really losing my hair. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you on straight Diovan or Diovan HCT?

Straight Diovan doesn't cause hair loss from all that I've heard and read.

However, Diovan HCT may. The HCT component is hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic) and when on the combo pill hair loss is listed as a possibility.

Re: Divan & Hair loss

does the hairloss stop when you go off the hctz? what dosage are those of you losing hair on? I take a 37.5 mg of maxide, which is trmterene with hctz (I know thanks to zuzu!) but haven't noticed hair loss.
