Hair Loss with BP pill

Has anyone had the rare (less than .1%) side effect from Norvasc of hair loss like I have? I was taking it for about 2 months and had a huge hair loss problem. My doctor and I are looking into tyroid problems and such, but I found alopecia is a rare side effect with Norvasc. Am I alone?

Hi Virgo:
I've been on Norvasc (10 mg) for about 8 months now, and am losing no more hair than usual. I guess as others have pointed out, our reactions (and side effects) to different meds are quite varied. Hope you find an answer soon.
