Anklerose- There are many causes of paresthesia and/or numbness ...It depends on how it manifests itself and where it is on the body etc.....Causes can range from simple inflammation to connective tissue disease....Metabolic disorders, malignancy, central nervous system disorders, toxins, hereditary conditions, infection, malnutrition,( e.g. B-12 deficiency), entrapment neuropathy. All this jargon may or may not mean anything to you......Would love to be more specific but need more info from you.
Exactly what is worrying you?

We can't help you if we don't know what you are experiencing.
What are your symptoms or sensations? Perhaps if you give us more detail, we can help more, and even reassure you.

my left side feels like it's waking up from sleep. i can't feel hot or cold and my hand and feet are always cold. my right side is my weak side. i sometimes walk with a cane and sometimes not. my blood pressure is flucating up and down. top is anywhere from 150 down 2 125. lower numbers are anywhere from the 60's up to 90's. i'm on norvasc 5mg a day. will these symptoms get any better or not? have had cat scan, mri's of the head, neck, shoulders. plenty of blood work and xrays. all is coming back normal. any suggestions? will this improve over time?
