I just took the test, and the results said that I could have a systolic pressure up to 195 and still be considered LOW risk. Something seems wrong. It doesn't even ask for a diastolic reading, which everyone says is so important.

I took it too and skewed it on purpose with different variables...

It seems odd that a 59 yr. old female non-smoker with no diabetes, no present/past heart disease, no history of stroke, normal creatinine, BUT with a total cholesterol of 280 and systolic BP of 190 would be considered at "average" risk.

PS SHADEPRA- Just an addendum for you...for years most emphasis was placed by clinicians on diastolic BP...but now, the systolic is considered a greater predictor of future cardiovascular events than diastolic.

Thanks max,
I love your fascination with tables and charts...keep 'em coming.
I tallied in at Low risk...1.2%

For grins I fiddled the systolics:
At 130: 1.07% chance of a fast kickoff.
At 140: 1.2%
At 150: 1.33%

Not a huge difference.
