Post Three Drug Experiment

Spurred by the excellent link from MaxJasper I put together a three drug regimen at lower doses than recommended.
I cut the Cozaar (ARB) in half to 50 mg.
Added 25 mg. HCTZ (diuretic)
And a teeny fast-hit beta blocker (morning): 40 mg. propranolol

Results astounded me. Last night I clocked a 115/62 with my customary 60BPM. The BP is a lower reading than I've seen in years.
AND a nicety...splitting the ARB in ha;lf is a real moiney saver....the other two drugs are cheap as aspirin and I've stockpiled wagonloads over the years.

I must remember to keep the potassium up (OJ and bananas) because of the thiazide. Easier now that I've thrown Atkins out with the trash.

The whole thing has amazed me (and I don't amaze easily)

Thanks Max.
