Wink Flamest Please

Flamaest
I wrote this in your other post, but thought you would see it better if I made it separate.

You have given me hope. How long were you on the Toprol and what dose? Did you feel tired on it at all? Did it make you anxious on it or just tapering off. You have many of the symptoms I have ( I think) and I am looking for answers.

This Saturday will be my last day with 1/2 dose of Toprol in my tapering off process. Still not sure if its the evil of all my ills, but I sure hope so. I was fine when I went to 25 mg ( 1/2 dose) but when I went to every other day 1/2 dose I went back to feeling horrible, jittery, not much appetite etc ( PMS??). Yesterday and Today I am a little nauseaus. Not sure what that is about, since its new, could be anxiety realted to figuring out what is wrong with me.

Last week appetite was back, this week its off again. I know it could be anxiety, from Toprol or not. Can you tell me if you had any other symptoms besides heart rate when weaning off Toprol, and what you had if anything on it that has gone away. You did mention anxiety. I hope to get rid of the jitters when I am off of this, if its the cause. Funny thing is that the Dr. said I should not have withdrawl, but I have read from other people that they felt they did have it, besides heart rate. Any information you could provide would be great.

Thanks so much
Sil

Wow that was a long withdrawal. Longer than I have heard about. I am doing it in 2 weeks. Did your Dr. recommend that long? What kind of problems did you have, if any, on Toprol?

Thanks
Sil
