I sincerely hope the nodule turns out to be okay!!!. I too cannot wait in the morning to take my levo - mainly because that is the only time I now have a little palpitations - early in the morning. Soon as I take the Levo they are gone almost instantly. I have lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks. Granted I started exercising and went on an eating plan before I started the meds, but previously no amount of exercise and diet would help. I have (strangely enough) noticed that my weight loss has tapered down slower since I am on the meds, but then again I would rather loss it slow and keep it off. The last 5 years have really been miserable for me.
Besides being so overweight and not being able to do something about it I had this incredible fatigue and my body was so sore.
I am (after the fact) very annoyed at my old doctor. He send me away for 5 years telling me it is "this or that". Basically insinuating that it is in my head. Now, finally having a blood test showing a problem and on the medication and I can hardly believe I was the same person as three weeks ago.
It seriously impacted my quality of life; stopping me from having relationships; influenced my relationships with my kids (always too tired to do something etc.). But I am focusing on the future now and not dwell on how much time I lost in the past.
I have also sensed another strange improvement...... .my sense of SMELL is back!!! How did that happen? This drug just floors me ---- then again thyroid hormone affects you in entirety (brain fuction and everything else)...
I still have achy legs but think it is getting better.
