Red face neck

Does anyone get sudden sharp pains in the bottom back of neck and head and then just they go away...I had this happen on the right sideof my head and now on the left side of my head?

Should I worry? I have had an MRI and CScan a little over a year ago...all normal.

Could this just be stressed, I got some disturbing news today...

Please help...
Thanks,
Becki

Hi Becky,
It could be stress or a number of other things. Have you had a whiplash injury? Or a neck/back injury? I have similar pains, headaches and neck probs and have had facet block injections which help. My discs are bulging but the dr's think the problem may be pressure on the facet joints which does not necessarily show up on the mri or ct. Have you seen a neurologist? I would look into things further if the pains continue. Good luck.
