Post stabbing/shooting pains

I frequently have stabbing pains in my head and breast/heart area. They don't normally last long at all, except the ones that have recently started in my chest they last awhile. But, to my question: Are stabbing pains normal??

Hi,

I get shooting pain in my head also, that scare me so bad. The pain for me is like a lighting bolt just zap me,in the head sometimes its so bad it brings me to my knees in tears.... The pain for me it so extreme sometimes, I call them my pain attacks. I am not sure if this is really normal or not,It sure doesnt feel like it! I have TMJ and I was told it could be from this, I am not saying you have it but it would not hurt to look into it.

I would go get yourself checked out, the pain near you breast and heart could be really serious so you should see a doctor asap.

Take care,

Starr

I get a shooting pain thru the right side of my neck and the chest area also. Don't know what it is and the doctors are stunned!! The pain in my neck is enough to drop me to my knees also with teeth clenched. Could be from a surge of blood as the arteries contract and open too fast, I suffer from massive migraines but they don't seem to follow the neck pain.
