Unhappy Cholesteotoma Mastoidectomy After Effects

At 42 years of age and after a bout of 'Bell's Palsy' I was found - via eye tests and a scan - to have a growth that was actually touching my brain. I was, possibly, one infection away from death.
Emergency surgery was carried out to remove the growth. Luckily there was no paralysis after extended surgery - the worst case the surgeon had seen in 5 years - and I now have nothing but a cavity in my right ear.

That was about 4 years ago, yet my vision suffers, I get light headed, tinnitus in the deaf ear, dizzines causing stumbling and generally feel rough during waking hours.

Has anyone else suffered these problems?

Believe me, I am grateful to be alive and grateful to the surgeon, but the after effects are so depressing. Thankfully a bout of 'Bell's Palsy' saved my life.
