Re: Question about withdrawals from Vicodin, thanks

Proobably about 12 to 16 hours I do beleive. Or basically the next day if you ask me.

There is a sticky here on the top under "home detox" that has an example of all of this and the example is withdrawing from vicadin. May be helpful.

I was addicted to vicadin and to get off of it, I switched to tramadol and now am addicted to that. It is less expensive but still sucks. I think the withdrawl symptons are a lot worse though on vicadin

Yeah....the w/d's wont take very long to rear their ugly head - and depending on how many you took a day, depends on how bad they will be. But regardless, coming off an 8 month habit (whether it was a legit habit or not) you're probably in for a little bit of a bumpy ride for a week or so. The absolute worst days are usually days 2-4 - with that wonderful day 3 usually being the worst. How many WERE you taking That may help determine just how bad you're gonna have it.

Peace,

I agree with Tat I also think your withdrawl severity will depend on how many you were taking and how long. If you taper yourself and cut down little by little that will help the withdrawl and how long it will last. You will have some withdrawls but not as severe as going off cold turkey. It will get better day by day it's hard to beleive this when you feel like crap but it does.

Best of Luck
