Multifocal pvc's and pac's

I am a new user. I was reading thru the posts and noticed that Aerosmith mentioned that pvc's are not dangerous although he did say they are more risky if they are "multifocal".
I have had pvc's and pac's for 13 years now and they are multifocal yet my cardio repeatedly assures me they are not dangerous.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the difference between multifocal and unifocal pvc's??
