Post daughter's abnormal heart beat

Recently my daughter's doctors have found a heart abnormalty. When her heart beat/contracts, it does a second contraction right after. I'm a bit baffled. I don't think she has always had this. No doctor has ever mentioned it to me. She had her tonsils out in December - do they hook you up to a heart monitor and wouldn't they be able to detect an unusual heart beat?

My concern is....she also is showing signs of having lupus. (She has a positive ANA, positive anti-double stranded DNA, postive anti-smith, and positive SS-B), along with many other symptoms. I'm worried that the lupus is causing the heart abnormalty.

She is being sent to a pediatric cardiologist, but not until August 30th. I just wish I knew what was going on and whether or not it is serious.
