Adderall addiction already?

I just started taking Adderall (immediate release) 20 mg twice a day. Beside the fact that it gives me bad headaches, I have noticed tolerance and withdrawal symptoms. (I've been taking it two weeks now.) At the end of the day I feel a unpleasant crash with accompanying anxiety and feeling a little bit depressed. I decided I didn't wanna be on this med anymore, but when I tried to stop taking it I would feel very tired and irritated and somewhat depressed. So, I would go back on it to rid myself of the symptoms. This cannot be good. I have decided this will be my last day on Adderall and I will just have to deal with the withdrawals until the stuff is out of my system. I also plan to start an anti-depressant. I feel as though my moods are kinda up and down on this drug as well. I just don't feel like myself. The only thing it seems to have improved is my impulsivity, but I don't think it's worth the side effects and feelings of "having" to take it everyday to feel normal. (or as normal as I can feel taking an amphetamine.)

I think you should tell your doctor about the withdrawl symptoms and he might ween you off the same med or a different med. It probably wouldn't take too long to get back to "normal" since you have been on it for such a short time. You very well may have some type of dependency by now though.
