DR prescribed a lower dosage pill than I was on before

Hello, I was on Aviane for the last 11 months which is levonorgestrel /and ethinyl estradiol . I sent my bf to the pharmacy to pick my b/c for me and when he handed it to me it was a different brand called Lutera, That says it was from my Dr. with 2 more refills. (was supposed to be my last refill of aviane Lutera has the same ingredients as avian but the dosage is reduced
to 0.1mg and 0.02mg instead of 0.10mg & 0.02.
This is lower than what I have been taking and I didn't start the pills until the last day of my period. Does your body build up a torrence to b/c pills? Could this make it less effective?

I am not a doctor, but I believe that your body will NOT build a tolerance to hormones.
The low doses are just as effective, but are lower because they usually cause less side effects.

Talk to your doctor to get more information.
