bad breath/body odor

Today I searched for some answers to my problem. I have felt like I was the only person in the world with this problem, until I found this website. Although the messages and discussion was from 2004 to 2006 I don't feel like such a martian. Here is my problem. Can anyone help!

I am a 47 year old woman who constantly smells bad. I have bad breath, I smell like a bowel movement, and my underarms smell. This is everyday! I have tried everything. I brush my teeth three times a day. Take a bath everyday. I go to the bathroom (bowel movement) at least three times a day, and I use men deodorant. I have worked at my present position for going on 10 years. After the second week I was there a co-worker told me that I stink. I have been fighting to keep my job, because my odor has become a problem. I can't hold my head up! This office is full of women and I have become a punching ball because of this problem. Mentally! If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me. I have seen physicians and therapist who have told me it's all in my mind and they don't smell a thing. Well either I am crazy or the rest of the world is playing a really cruel joke on me. Help!

in search for me ending my bad breath as well I saw that Colloidal silver can also be used as a deodorant surprisingly this product can also be used to treat bad breath if its caused by gingivitis. theres different forms of colloidal silver but basically all the same

There is a genetic disorder called Trimethyiaminuria, that causes people to smell badly.
Ask your doctor about it, I think there is a special diet that helps!

I will say this, sometimes you can have a horrible sinus infection that causes Everything in your world to stink because you are smelling thru this bacterial infection. and you don't realize it is just your sinuses that smell. Also, the sinuses put out an odor too. And you think it is your underarms, etc. But unless someone else has smelled under your arms, and agreed it is coming from under your arms, I would first go to an ENT surgeon and get your sinuses x-Rayed and possibly flushed out.

There is a condition that causes a fishy odor but not bm odor. This was profiled on 20-20 last year. It is genetic.
if it is this rare condition---the diet is important and there were meds the woman took.

You can get help.
An endocrinologist would be the place to start. Describe the odor. Go online. Sometimes we can get our own help. Doctors are so busy with the routine stuff they don't have time for anything that requires extra time to investigate.

But if OTHER people have mentioned it, it must be happening and IS NOT all in your mind.

This is a simple question, and maybe you have already thought about this. But what types of foods do you eat? A lot of ethnic cooking can lead to different odors, and they might not be bad smelling to you...but to others they can be. Some ppl the smell just comes thru their pores.
