Well, it's possible they could be herpes, but it's hard to even guess from what little information you gave. Your best bet is to go to your doctor ASAP and let him/her take a look at it.
It might be too late to do a swab test on the sores with any accuracy (ask your doc), but you might want to get a blood test done to check for HSV-2 (usually the cause of genital herpes). Don't be surprised if you test positive for HSV-1 (cold sores); so do 50-80% of the rest of the population.
If you come up negative for either HSV-1 or HSV-2 then you have a baseline to compare any future tests to, and you should get retested in 2 or 3 months. If you go this route, be sure it's a test that distinguishes between types 1 and 2.
Herpes is not curable (yet *g*) but there are ways to treat it. If you have it, you can read up on it to find out about it, but for now you want to start by just finding out what this is.
