Decadron/Dexamethasone and Mood Swings

Can mood swings &/or emotional instability, related to IV Decadron, suddenly appear out of nowhere, even if a person had received the medication numerous times in the recent past and never experienced this side effect before?

(If you need further info, please let me know)

Yes, steroid psychosis can happen at any time. With all steroid medications, the chances for side effects increase over time (and dosage).

The website Myeloma.org has an informative PDF pamphlet on Dexa. (geared toward those with myeloma, obviously)
