Hi, my dermatologist recently prescribed Minocycline & spiro to help with acne, along with a topical medication called Ziana. I've been using these 3 for nearly a month. I'm also on my 3rd month of yasmin, prescribed separately by my ob/gyn for birth control, irregular periods and acne. I'm frustrated because I feel like I should be seeing more of an improvement on 4 different medications! Yasmin did virtually nothing by itself, and while I've seen a slight improvement in the deep nodular acne on my chin/jawline since starting the other 3, I'm still getting a few really deep, painful, annoying pimples.
how long does a spiro & minocycline combination take to work, on average? any suggestions for relentless stubborn acne?
