Unhappy Back problem

Hi guys
had a failed caudle injection yesterday surgeon did it and couldnt find disc space, so he gave up after three very painful attemps. He is now refering me to pain clinic in Boston Lincolnshire to have it done with a flouroscope.I just feel in despair and had to put down in words my desperation of all this constant pain. I feel so much for all you people in the same baot . Also today i have just had a letter to say i have been refused Disability living allowance. My husband is going to help me appeal but i have nearly lost to will to fight any more.Yet another waiting list to have this procedure done for my back. I have yet to discover if the discs at the top of my neck have herniated or have ddd, that is another waiting list,my life seems to be passing by, 24 years of back problems is no fun anymore as you guys well know
Sorry to moan just in so much pain after the injections yesterday and had to get it of my chest.lol.

Hope you are all having a better day than me..Take care all.

Tracy

Re: Back problem

(((((((Hugs)))))))))) I can feel your pain and desperation. When you are pain an appt two or three weeks off seems like years. I imagine him digging around did not help the pain at all. I am sorry.

Re: Back problem

Thanks pepper for your quick reply.
Must admit I couldnt feel much lower having real hard time coping with the pain and lack of sleep doesn't help.As you well know here in England to get anything done we have to wait anywhere from a month to six months for any procedure. I am popping pills like they have gone out of fashion nd they dont give relief. We as a family have run out of money this month for groceris etc prescriptions and it makes me sad to ask my 9 year old if she can lend me the money for her karate lesson tonight. In fact i really cried in front of husband this morning. Because i cant work i am not earning at he minute or claiming any sort of benefit it makes me feel like i am not contributing to the bills.

Whoops there i go moaning again. how are you doing yourself any more news.

Hugs to you too.

Re: Back problem

I am so sorry. If I could, I would give you a truck load of gold coins to help with the expenses. The sad thing about back pain is the toll it takes on us emotionally, financially and physically. (((HUGS)))

I won't hear anything until the 23rd. I have an appt with my gp this afternoon and I am going to bring everything my cd from the mylegram and xrays to see if he can read anything.

Talking Re: Back problem

What new are you thinking you may get from your myelogram . I had one doen 20 plus years ago and it was very unpleasant to say the least as you were not sedated as they needed to find which disc and nerves were trapped. was it the same for you. hope not? I wish you all the very best and hope the out come is as best as it can be. How long by the way have you suffered with back problems. I am still quite new to this site so i havent got your history.

sending lots of good luck to you.
