Re: Enlarged Uterus

I have read that it is common if your uterus/fibroids are large enough to push on your bladder.

Re: Enlarged Uterus

Ashelymichele,

Is your uterus also prolapsed? I had prolaps of my uterus, as well as my bladder after giving birth twice. So I did have some incontinence that went along with that. I ended up having a hysterectomy because of this. Not sure if an enlarged uterus could cause the same symptoms, unless the fibroids are ON the uterus, putting pressure on the bladder?
Your GYN would be able to answer that question for you. What has your GYN suggested?

Wish you well,
take care, and God bless.

Yes, the doctor told me that when your uterus is enlarged it pushes other stuff around and you bladder is one of them thats why there is incontinence.

Re: Enlarged Uterus

I was never actually incontinent, but my fibroid (before I had it treated) sure put a lot of pressure on my bladder making me have to pee waaaay more than normal. Very annoying. I'd say if you're actually at the point where you're incontinent, something has to be done about it.
