Hey everyone I have posted recently about my sister which some of you have read. You might also have read on the same thread that our Mom passed away from rectal cancer. The reason I am posting is because sapphire brought up a really good point. A few years before my Mom passed away she was complaining about her back hurting constantly in the middle area. They said she had osteoporosis and sent her for physical therapy with no improvement. She continued to hurt and took sooo many advil. She then got really sick couldn't keep nothing down etc. so I took her to the ER. They eventually realized it was her gallbladder and it needed to come out ASAP. Well by the time they got it out it was gang green. Now they took a gang green gallbladder out laproscopically! Okay no problems from that. Then a few years later her doc discovered a polyp by a colonoscopy in the office with no anesthesia!!! Yes this doc is still practiceing and later performed exploratory surgery on Mama and pretty much told us she had maybe 12 mths.(But thats for another thread.) Anyway during Mama's cancer fight I remember one of the oncologist at Emory saying to me "I saw where you're Mom had a pretty gruesome gallbladder surgery in the past, thats probably what started all of this." So I think what she was getting at was that the gang green is what caused the cancer. Or it could be like sapphire mentioned saying gallbladder surgery itself could cause these problems. I believe she said something about the bile dripping on the intestinal wall. Anyway the point I am trying to make is it could have been either one that may have contributed to her cancer. The way that my Mom was treated through all of this is a very painful thing for me to get over but the fact that they dismissed her with saying she had osteporosis, caused her gallbladder to sit in there and basically rot and all of those toxins I assume traveled thru her whole body. The cancer wasn't long behind. Now I am not trying to scare anyone okay but I just want to say to follow your gutt and research as much as you can. I was a little more to believe what any doc would tell me and think it was the right thing but as you can see thats not always the case. So whether the gallbladder staying there too long was the cause or the gall bladder removal was the cause I definitely learned alot and will never go to the doctor without doing my own research first. If your gallbladder is not working get it out.
Thanks sapphire for bringing this to my attention and what you said did make alot of sence. Thanks everyone for reading.
